The directors of the GSC, Simon Schneider and Janeen Chupa, commented: “We are extremely pleased with the quality of submissions from innovators in Asia, originating from universities, research labs, corporate spin-offs and their own garages. The breadth of the innovations from all kinds of disciplines showed us the value of hosting this competition in Singapore to empower people with bright ideas that make us all safer.”

The Global Security Challenge was founded by MBA students at the London Business
