SensorDynamics achieves ISO 14001 accreditation


Graz, Austria - July 17, 2008: SensorDynamics, a rapidly expanding company that focuses on innovative micro and wireless sensor products for automotive, industry and aerospace applications, has today announced its Environmental Management System, which has been formally accredited and meets the ISO 14001:2004 International Standard requirements.

Det Norske Veritas (DNV), one of the largest independent certification bodies worldwide, has certified that SensorDynamics meets all criteria for ISO 14001:2004.

With this certification, SensorDynamics underlines its progressive environmental policies. The international voluntary requirements contain numerous norms in the field of environmental management. With respect to this, SensorDynamics has committed to achieve a reduction in energy consumption, recycling of packaging material and a consistent separation of waste for the company and its suppliers by the end of 2009. In addition, the semi-conductor technology company from Graz, is striving to consistently develop its environmental management in the area of product development. In the future, suppliers will also be contractually included in the SensorDynamics “Environmental Care Programme“.
