iZingo, ranked Top 25 brilliant start-ups in The Netherlands

Reed Elsevier magazine FEM Business made public on Friday in their weekly magazine the 2006 Top 25 most brilliant technology start-ups in The Netherlands. iZingo was ranked for its business plan, the scalability and the international approach and the ability to execute.

Fem Business mentioned that under the leadership of Ben van Dongen (former CEO Picopoint Technologies and co-founder of Wjoy) the company is now deploying outside Amsterdam and will start a service in Barcelona soon. Also the current network in Amsterdam was brought to a level that now can start to compete with ADSL and Cable services and is ready to start offering mobile VoIP services and UMA (universal mobile access) roaming services to mobile operators.

iZingo is preparing major partnerships in the area of VoIP and Enterprise Remote Access.

iZingo' project name in Amsterdam so far has been Hotspot Amsterdam. With the opening of the network in Barcelona the name will be changed to iZingo.

iZingo' management foresees a major change in the telecommunication domain, where small very cost effective operators like iZingo start to roll out converged services as a natural thing! This is what we are here for and what our customers expect!
