[iito] and BIOBASE Announce License and Collaboration Agreement for »gene-sensor« Database
Business Intelligence Database to Be Advanced with Regard to Biological Databases

[iito] Business Intelligence – a business information company focussed on the life sciences industry – and BIOBASE – the worldwide leading content provider of biological databases – today announced the signing of a license and collaboration agreement for the »gene-sensor« business intelligence database.

BIOBASE will subscribe to »gene-sensor« and both companies will work together to further advance the business intelligence database with regard to the bioinformatics industry.

The »gene-sensor« database is a powerful tool for corporate business development that has been successfully introduced to the German market in 2003. Since the end of 2005 a fully-customized international English version has become available and [iito] has partnered with industry-leading licensees to combine their respective intimate industry knowledge with the power of the »gene-sensor« system. While several undisclosed partnerships are ongoing, the license to BIOBASE is the first publicly announced agreement.
