Microsoft selects Pertinence to become an “IDEES” partner

Pertinence, a global leader in Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence, announced today its selection by Microsoft to enter the new and innovative “IDEES” (Initiative for Business Development of Software vendors and starts-ups) partnership program. Launched initially in France, IDEES is part of Microsoft’s corporate global initiative aimed at fostering an ecosystem of successful software companies that offer highly innovative solutions.

Through this first European initiative, Microsoft France wants to breed success in French start-ups, both locally and globally. When selecting a company to join the IDEES initiative, Microsoft offers it three-fold support: technical, marketing, and sales.

Microsoft offers Pertinence:
-The opportunity for the R&D team to benefit from the Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) facilities in Paris
-A strong support system to help strengthen Pertinence brand awareness through joint marketing activities on an international scale
-Access to Microsoft’s extensive international network, in order to boost its development abroad

“Pertinence’s leading-edge technology and growth has really impressed us. They are endorsed by prestigious customers and have recently established operations within the US. We are confident that Pertinence has the assets to achieve continued success and through the IDEES initiative will continue to support Pertinence accordingly,” says Mark Barry, Director for Emerging Business, Microsoft.

“We are delighted to be part of the IDEES initiative. IDEES is a comprehensive technology-and-business approach that creates strategic relationships between Microsoft and cutting-edge companies like Pertinence. Pertinence became a “Microsoft Certified Partner” last year and this was a major technological endorsement. Today, through IDEES, Microsoft is going a step further and recognizing our strong potential to achieve success in Europe and North America. This is extremely rewarding,” concludes Amélie Faure, CEO at Pertinence.
