Industria acquires Harmony and launches Industria Living
Take-over of home automation operator complements solution provider’s end-to-end broadband offering

International broadband solutions provider and systems integrator Industria ( has taken an important step towards extending its digital living solutions into homes and other premises, with the acquisition of Dublin-based home automation solutions company Harmony.

Now operating as Industria Living (, Harmony will serve as Industria’s home automation and installation division worldwide, connecting homes and other properties from street to screen and complimenting the company’s existing portfolio of cutting-edge products and services.

Industria Living services include the design and installation of structured cabling systems, multi-room audio and video, lighting and heating control, remotely monitored security systems, IPTV and digital telephone systems. The company’s client base is comprised of property developers, private home owners, architects and interior designers.

Following this latest acquisition, Industria provides the full range of infrastructure, services and solutions required to bring the convenience, flexibility and freedom that are the hallmarks of digital living directly to homes, businesses and other premises.

“We’re delighted to have become part of a strong international corporation like Industria, with all the experience, resources and access to new markets that this brings,” says Harmony founder Tom Fitzpatrick, who now assumes the role of Industria Living manager.

“In addition to giving the company an international dimension, it gives us a much greater ability to cater for larger residential developments, as well as private home custom installations, and we’ve already added to our team to meet demand.”

Industria Living made a successful public debut at the recent Self-Build Ireland exhibition staged at Punchestown from September 1-3, and the company will be appearing at Stand S51 at the Irish Sustainable Building show at Dublin’s RDS from September 14-16
