MobileAware Provides Wind Hellas with Strategic Platform for Mobile Service Delivery
Wind Hellas offers subscribers wide range of high-value mobile data services

DUBLIN, Ireland – August 13, 2007 – MobileAware, the world’s leading provider of Mobile Service Infrastructure, today announced that Wind Hellas Telecommunications, a leading Greek operator, has used MobileAware technology as part of a Service Delivery Platform (SDP), offering a broad selection of high-value mobile data services. The new WIND Plus™ services, available to more than four million subscribers, provide a range of news, sports and weather information, downloadable music, ringtones and games, as well as live TV, video clips and photo sharing services. In addition to providing a single platform for managing Wind Hellas’s entire life cycle of mobile content services, MobileAware’s technology also enables functionality such as Content Search, Personalization and Content Promotion.

The solution, which was provided in partnership with Ericsson, was specifically designed to provide a reusable mobile content delivery framework as part of their SDP, allowing Wind Hellas to manage the entire lifecycle of content and services, from content providers to subscribers. An easy-to use administration portal enables Wind Hellas to control all facets of the content delivery process directly from a Web-based administration portal. A flexible, Web-based architecture also allows the operator’s content providers to easily manage and upload content, edit and update profiles, generate content metadata and view and monitor download statistics. Wind Hellas dynamically generates a personalized view of mobile services according to the subscriber’s device capabilities as well as subscriber profiles. Content can be discovered and downloaded via multiple channels, including Web, WAP and SMS and is tailored for optimized presentation on any mobile device.

“Wind Hellas clearly recognizes the importance of advanced mobile data services in achieving sustainable market leadership and, with the assistance of MobileAware, has developed a strategic technology platform that will enable them to continuously expand and adapt their mobile data services to meet changing market conditions,” commented Kevin McCloskey, CEO at MobileAware. “Wind Plus offers the best of mobile services available today and can easily introduce the feature-rich multimedia services of tomorrow. MobileAware’s wide range of operator deployments not only reaffirms the superiority of our technology, it also demonstrates our industry leadership in the design and implementation of complex service delivery projects.”

MobileAware’s award-winning technology enables mobile operators to deliver an intuitive user interface through which subscribers can easily discover, purchase and download revenue-generating content and services from any mobile device. It manages the operator’s entire content portfolio and seamlessly integrates with the industry’s leading portal servers and content management systems to provide a converged multichannel digital content and media delivery platform. MobileAware has successfully delivered similar solutions for a number of leading operators including Telstra, SingTel, Saudi Telecom, and Digicel.
