iNEWiT appoints Jos Marchand business development manager for the Middle East & Africa

Mechelen, January 2008 - iNEWiT has appointed Jos Marchand Business Development Manager for The Middle East and Africa. Jos will be responsible for establishing and strengthening iNEWiT's network of telecom operators and market partners.

The Middle East market has a huge growth potential. A number of new mobile broadband operators have recently appeared and users want advanced applications and are prepared to pay for them. iNEWiT's mobile multimedia applications will help these operators get subscribers and generate traffic on their networks.

Africa is an emerging market; mobile operators are popping up everywhere as the continent is being equipped with latest generation mobile networks. Here also, iNEWiT sees major growth potential.

Jos Marchand will develop these markets as part of iNEWiT's international sales & marketing team. Jos formerly worked as an independent Business Development Consultant, before that he was Business Development Manager at HP and Compaq Computer. Jos is 52 years old and has 3 children.
